2013 & 2014 Schedule & Prices

Every season, from May through September, The Boat Company operates the premiere small boat Alaskan cruise between Sitka and Juneau. By limiting the number of passengers, the Boat Company provides you and your group a more intimate setting, a higher degree of personal attention from the crew, and a greater freedom to go “off-itinerary” to create a truly memorable, week-long Alaskan cruise. We feel that our boats, the LISERON and the MIST COVE, are the perfect vessels for your family Alaska vacation, Alaska fishing charter or Alaskan wilderness adventure! So, take a look at our schedule and pricing, and book your dream Alaskan cruise vacation today!

The Boat Company is a tax-exempt organization that provides recreational and educational experiences for its passengers. Because of our continuing work to conserve/preserve the forest, wildlife, and fisheries in the area we operate in, some portion of the cost of your trip may be tax deductible as a charitable contribution.

After the end of our fiscal year (September 30th), The Boat Company will provide a letter to each passenger entitled to a deduction stating the amount of the charitable contribution. Only the portion of the payment that exceeds the fair market value of the trip may be tax deductible as a charitable contribution. Deeply discounted fares are not likely to qualify.

Cancellation Policy

The Boat Company is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting conservation in general – with special emphasis on Southeast Alaska. Because of this (and unlike large cruise ships which carry hundreds of passengers) The Boat Company must balance income against the expense of maintenance and operations. Cancellations reduce our ability to break even. Therefore deposits and any payments are fully refundable (less a $50 per-person processing fee) only if The Boat Company receives written notice of cancellation prior to January 1st.

Cancellations after January 1st are non-refundable and non-transferable unless the reservation is re-sold at the same price (less a $50 per-person processing fee). If you must cancel and do not have anyone who can take your space, we will do our best to re-sell it, but we cannot guarantee resale. In view of our need for such a strict cancellation policy, we recommend the purchase of travel insurance.

* Please Note: Prices are subject to change.  Every effort has been made to produce pricing information accurately.  The Boat Company reserves the right to correct promotional or pricing errors at any time, or to increase the price in the event of cost increases due to park fee increases, state and/or federal taxes, fuel surcharges, etc.

The Boat Company operates on the Tongass National Forest under a Forest Service Special Use Permit.

The Boat Company is an equal opportunity provider and employer.
