Chef Amber’s Halibut Recipe

Whether you brought halibut home from your journey with The Boat Company, or the fish is available at your local grocer and you want to relive the tasty dinner had onboard, here is our Macadamia Nut Crusted Halibut Recipe for all to enjoy.

Macadamia Nut Crusted Halibut by Chef Amber Kitka

Recipe created for four 5-ounce potions of halibut

Ingredients

1 c. of chopped, toasted macadamia nuts 

¼ c. panko crumbs 

½ c. flour 

2 eggs 

Kosher salt and pepper to taste 

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350º F. 

Dredge the halibut pieces in a bowl of flour, salt and pepper, mixed to taste. 

Dunk flour-covered halibut in bowl of the whisked eggs. 

Mix chopped macadamia nuts and panko crumb. Press mixture onto the halibut pieces and lay on a baking sheet. 

Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until slightly firm.
